We got to look inside the exiting butterfly house
and this is what we found...
butterflies
look closely - can you spot the fish?
a black chrysalis - why do you think this one is black?
a green chrysalis or pupa
lots of caterpillars
a tree with lots of butterlies
We then went on a nature walk and explored the gardens
along the way we sketched some trees and leaves
we also found a banana tree
and some of us thought this was an apple tree
while others made a pizza - hope it's cheese flavour!
